I'm a multi-disciplinary designer, art director, animator, copywriter/strategist, and musician. Formerly an Associate Partner on Emily Oberman's team at the New York office of Pentagram, I am now happily freelancing in Portland, OR.
Prior to finding my way into design, I worked with words (writing, editing) and music (recording, touring). These days I enjoy approaching projects from a multitude of angles: design and art direction; strategy and copy; video editing, sound design, music composition, and animated flim-flammery. I've done voiceovers. I teach on occasion. But most of all I like working with interesting, funny people.
I live in Northeast Portland with my girlfriend, one too many guitars, and a cat named Brian Eno. I enjoy strong coffee, uncomfortable music, and dad jokes.
